This was announced during a meeting on May 31, 2021 by Chargé d’affaires Mrs. Nataliia Fiialka with Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Resources Management of Montenegro Mr. Alexandar Stijović.
Ukraine, as one of the leading exporters of agricultural products, is interested in increasing its supplies to Montenegro using the mechanisms of the Free Trade Agreement, which has been in force between our countries since 2013. She stressed the readiness to facilitate the establishment of contacts between interested Montenegrin companies and exporters of agricultural products.
According to Minister A.Stijović, Montenegro is interested and ready to develop cooperation with Ukraine in the field of agriculture and food industry. Montenegro has significant potential in exporting wine, olive oil and meat products, including pršut, which may be of interest to Ukrainian consumers.
